Superfly New Single Ai Wo Kurae

Both songs in Superfly's 14th single are being tied in with the film Smuggler, directed by Ishii Katsuhito and starring Tsumabuki Satoshi. "Ai wo Kurae" is the fourteenth single released by Superfly.

"Ai wo Kurae” is a rock number filled with positive energy. described as a feel-good rock number with a captivating atmosphere. Superfly says that she wrote the song with the follow in mind: We all live our own way and walk the path we believe is true. Even if the world turns away from us or we get laughed at, we put as much love as we can into a song keep walking the path we believe in.

The mid-tempo rock tune Ai wo Kurae serves as the film's theme song, while B-side track I My Me Mine Mine will be its image song.

Superfly Third Album Release Travel Mind

Retro rock band Superfly - consisting solely of vocalist Ochi Shiho - will be going on its biggest nationwide concert tour in the summer of 2011, covering 32 venues across Japan.

Before the start of the tour, the rock unit is releasing its third original full-length album Mind Travel. The album once again features Superfly's signature style of retro 70s rock-and-roll, and it includes hit singles Wildflower (theme song for the drama Gold), Eyes on Me, Beep!!, and Sunshine Sunshine.

Since making her debut in 2008, Superfly has topped the album charts with 166,000 copies four times in a row. The last female artist to accomplish this was singer-songwriter Utada Hikaru, who topped the charts with her first four albums seven years ago.
