BUMP OF CHICKEN (バンプ・オブ・チキン) is a Japanese rock band under the TOY'S FACTORY label.

After the anime theme and the charity single, Bump of Chicken's third single of 2011 is Zero, the theme song for the highly anticipated Final Fantasy Type-0.

The band wrote the song specifically for the game after meeting with the game's creators, making this a theme song that will truly match the game. The single includes Smile as its B-side track. "Zero" is the 21st single released by BUMP OF CHICKEN.

Bump Of Chicken New Single Smile Collaborates With Comic Artist Inoue Takehiko

After the devastating earthquake and tsunami that struck northeastern Japan on March 11, 2011, the Japanese entertainment industry immediately sprung to action. Affected by images of the devastation, rock band Bump of Chicken collaborates with comic artist Inoue Takehiko (Slam Dunk, Vegabond) on the charity single Smile. While the band provides the song, which is serving as the theme song of commercials for Softbank's recovery portal site, Inoue serves as director/illustrator for the song's music video.

The two will work together on “Smile” with Inoue in charge of the illustrations and BUMP OF CHICKEN contributing the music for the commercial which airs from April 15th. Part of Softbank Mobile’s “Let’s Persevere Together Japan” Project, the “Revival Support Portal Site” will feature two commercials, “Smile” and “ONE”, both of which are 30 seconds.

In order to complete the commercial as quickly as possible, BUMP OF CHICKEN finished writing the song only two days after their phone conversation with Inoue. “We think that this work is the result of the deep connection between Inoue’s and our thoughts. We want anyone and everyone to see it”. All proceeds from the single will be donated to the disaster relief efforts.

Bump of Chicken is a Japan Rock Group consists of Fujiwara Motoo, Masukawa Hiroaki, Naoi Yoshifumi, and Masu Hideo. Their popular increased while released their third single “Tentai Kansoku”.

Bump Of Chicken released their new single in 2011 titled "Tomodachi no Uta". The single is writen by band vocalist Fujiwara Motoo.

Bump Of Chicken single Uchuu Hikoushi heno Tegami / Motor Cycle

After released their 18th single "Mahou no Ryouri ~Kimi Kara Kimi e~" half year ago, Japanese Rock Band Bump Of Chicken released their single "Uchuuhikoushi e no Tegami / Motorcycle".

The letter to the astronaut already blasted off and BUMP OF CHICKEN cruise onto “Motorcycle”. The split single, the band’s 18th, comes out October 13th.

Bump of Chicken is a Japan Rock Group consists of Fujiwara Motoo, Masukawa Hiroaki, Naoi Yoshifumi, and Masu Hideo. Their popular increased while released their third single "Tentai Kansoku".

After gained success for their fifteenth single titled "R.I.P / Merry Christmas", Bump of Chicken released "Happy" which is one of singles to release consecutively for two weeks. Another single, "Mahō no Ryōri (Kimi kara Kimi e)" was released on April 21, 2010. "Happy" reached number one on the Oricon Weekly Charts and Japan Hot 100.

Maho no Royri (Kimi Kara Kimi e) was written just before Fujiwara turned 30, based on the concept of his older self talking to his younger self, including first hand experiences. It was also used by NHK's Minna no Uta between April and May 2010.
