the GazettE New Single VORTEX

the GazettE (ガゼット) is a five member Japanese rock band in the visual-kei scene. They were previously known as Gazette before the release of their second album NIL in February of 2006. The band formed in January of 2002 in the Kantou area of Japan and debuted three months later with the single "Wakaremichi" through indies label Matina.

After playing to their biggest audience yet in the Tokyo Dome on Boxing Day 2010, the GazettE starts off their 2011 with their latest single "VORTEX". The song continues the evolution of the band as they continue to grow in popularity. The single also includes the B-side track Uncertain Sense.

"VORTEX" is the 12th major and 20th overall single released by the GazettE. It is their first Sony Music Entertainment single to not have any immediate tie-ins. The title track is said to depict the struggles of the social system and the absurd.
