SuG New Single Toy Soldier

SuG (サグ) is a five member Japanese rock band in the oshare-kei scene that formed in October of 2006. Being under PS COMPANY's indies sub-label Indie-PSC for the majority of their career, at the start of December 2009 it was announced that SuG would become a major band in the new year.

The band signed with Pony Canyon and released their major debut single "gr8 story" on January 27th, 2010.

Maaya Sakamoto New Single Okaerinasai

Before releasing her 15th anniversary mini-album Driving in the silence, Sakamoto Maaya is releasing two singles over two consecutive weeks - neither of which will be featured in the new album.

Okaerinasai is the second of the two singles, and it will be the opening theme to the anime series Tamayura - hitotose -. Both the heartwarming ballad and the B-side track A Happy New Year are composed by veteran singer-songwriter Matsutoya Yumi.

"Okaerinasai" is the twentieth single released by Sakamoto Maaya. The title track will be used as the opening theme for the anime Tamayura ~hitotose~. The limited edition came with a bonus disk featuring selected songs from her live concert at Tokyo International Forum Hall A on June 3 and 4, 2011.

NMB48 Second Single Release Oh My God!

AKB48's Osaka-based sister group NMB48 is back three months after their number one debut single with their upbeat follow-up Oh My God!. The highly anticipated single includes Boku wa Matteru as B-side track.

NMB48 has become the first group to top the Oricon charts twice in a row since their debut single. They are the third female artist to achieve this goal, following  the footsteps of Yakushimaru Hiroko and Sawajiri Erika.  Additionally, they’ve become the first female group to sell over 200,000 copies in its first week, two singles in a row.

Kara Third Japanese Single Winter Magic

After having a Go Go Summer, Korean girl group Kara now spreads some Winter Magic for their Japanese fans in their fifth J-pop single. Returning to Japan after releasing their third album in Korea, the girls are ready to give their fans a fun dance tune that will keep them warm all winter.

To match the theme of ‘winter’, the girls filmed on a white-themed set that emphasized a sense of innocence. The girls aim to show a more gentle charisma this time around to match the ‘pure’ feel of the song. After the anime theme and the charity single, Bump of Chicken's third single of 2011 is Zero, the theme song for the highly anticipated Final Fantasy Type-0.

The band wrote the song specifically for the game after meeting with the game's creators, making this a theme song that will truly match the game. The single includes Smile as its B-side track. "Zero" is the 21st single released by BUMP OF CHICKEN.

MBLAQ Second Japanese Single Baby U!

MBLAQ (엠블랙) is a Korean group that debuted in 2009. The group was created by the famous Korean singer/actor Rain and they are under the singer's own management company J. Tune Entertainment. MBLAQ is an acronym for "Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality". The group is set to debut in Japan in May 2011 under Sony Music Entertainment.

After their successful Japanese debut single Your Luv, Rain-produced Korean pop group MBLAQ is back with their follow-up Baby U! "Baby U!" is MBLAQ's second Japanese single.

The song, also the theme for the anime series Beelzebub, will be another upbeat tune that will give the members a chance to show off their dance skills.

AKB48 New Single Kaze wa Fuiteiru

AKB48 is having a phenomenal 2011, having beaten the same Oricon first-week sales record twice already. According to Oricon, the single sold 1,045,937 copies on its first day of release, beating their previous record of highest first-day sales with "Flying Get". Now, they look to continue their winning streak with their 23rd single Kaze wa Fuiteiru.
